The Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) Singapore organised an evening of indoor golf and networking session at The Par Club. Thanks to co-hosts Hui Min Chan and Angela Spathonis, the participants were treated to an evening of new and renewed friendships over a hearty spread of light bites, wine and beer. Participants - amateurs and experienced alike - at the three golf simulator bays had a fun time over hits and misses. In support of WLI Champions of Change, participants were encouraged to make personal pledges for gender equality and parity. Launched in 2021, the Champions of Change caters for pledge owners to be role models in implementing systematic improvements and influencing the ecosystem. All in, it was a great evening of swinging fun! #ULISingapore #WLISingapore #WomenInLeadership #WomenInRealEstate #WomensLeadershipInitiative

The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Singapore Steering Committee hosted an intimate and insightful speaker series in honor of International Women’s Day (IWD), featuring Maya Hari, CEO of Terrascope, and Hwee Ping Teo, Head of Legal and Company Secretary at Singapore Land Group Limited. The event, moderated by Nayan Parekh from Gensler, provided a platform for Maya and Hwee Ping to share their career journeys, focusing on their experiences as women in leadership. During the session, Maya and Hwee Ping discussed how being a woman influenced their journeys to the C-suite and boardroom, including balancing personal and professional commitments, navigating relocations, evolving leadership styles, and embracing remote work. One of the key highlights was the discussion on whether women can "have it all". Both speakers shared candidly about their experiences, providing valuable perspectives. The session also raised the question, "what about men?" prompting reflection on the roles of advocates - friends, partners, fathers, in supporting their career journeys. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Maya Hari, Teo Hwee Ping, and Nayan Parekh for their time, openness, and insightful contributions to the session. Their stories and reflections have inspired us all to continue striving for gender equality and inclusivity in leadership. #WLISingapore #womeninleadership #womeninrealestate #ULIWomensHistoryMonth #InternationalWomensDay #InspireInclusion
