You can easily send gifts to family and friends from Walmart.com

• We send an email to your gift recipient that includes your personalized gift message and digital receipt. We'll itemize the receipt and won't include the price of the gift.
• For pickup orders, you'll receive an email, which includes a gift receipt you can share with the recipient.

Find gift-eligible items

Follow these steps to find items eligible for gifting:

1. On the search results page, under the filter Gifting, select the Gift eligible checkbox. 
2. Select an item you would like to gift.
3. On the item page, you can confirm that the item is gift eligible by finding the gift icon and the label This item is gift eligible below the shipment options.
   • Some items may have a Packaging Note below the eligibility label.
     • Ships in the manufacturer's original packaging, which may reveal the contents.
4. Add the gift to your cart.

Will the gift arrive in a Walmart box?

• Shipped from Walmart.com:
  • Will be packaged in a Walmart box when possible.
  • An item can’t be packaged in a Walmart box will be shipped in its original manufacturer box, which may reveal the contents.
• Delivery from store and pickup items: no, these items won’t be packaged in a Walmart box, which may reveal the contents.

Checkout with gift-eligible items 

1. In cart, check the box labeled This order is a gift.
2. Confirm pickup and delivery options. These options differ between delivery and pickup.

Delivery orders with gift-eligible items

1. Enter and confirm the recipient's delivery address.
2. Enter and confirm the recipient's email address.
   • You may enter your own email address if you don't know the recipient's email. However, this means the recipient won't receive your customized gift message, which is the only way they'll know who gave them a gift.
3. Add a customized gift message.
4. Select a payment method.
5. Review and place the order.

We’ll send two emails to the email address you gave us for the recipient.

The first email includes:

• Estimated delivery date
• Gifter's name
• Tracking details (we won't reveal the prices or items)

The second email includes:

• Gifter's name
• Gift details
• Instructions on returns
• Link to start a return
• Gift receipt (we'll itemize the receipt and won't include the price of the gift)

Pickup orders with gift-eligible items

• Only the person placing the order will receive emails.
  • No recipient emails or gift message.
• When you place the order, you’ll receive a confirmation once the order is picked up. This email includes the gift receipt with instructions on returns.
  
  • You can share the email or gift receipt with the person you're gifting.
