How do I change my Pickup time?

You can change your store pick up time if the order is still in process, and it is before the cutoff time. The cutoff time will appear as a banner at the top of your purchase history. Before the cutoff time, you can:

  • Add or remove items.
  • Increase or decrease quantities.
  • Allow or disallow substitutions.
  • Reschedule the time slot (only once).

How do I change my order from Delivery to Pickup or, Pickup to Delivery?

You can’t change the fulfillment type after you place your order and checkout. The only exception is if you get a text message about a delayed scheduled delivery that gives this option.

If you have checked out and then want to change from Pickup to Delivery, or from Delivery to Pickup, you must request to cancel and then place a new order.

What if I am late to my scheduled Pickup?

  • If you are late to your scheduled Pickup, and the Pickup window is prior to 8 p.m., you can still check in by 8 p.m. local time on the Pickup date.
  • If you are late to check in for your Pickup order and it is after 8 p.m., you should reschedule or cancel and reorder.
  • Frozen and perishable items such as produce are stored at the correct temperature until you pick up your order.
  • If you don’t pick up the order by the end of the day, the store cancels your order the next day. This releases the authorization hold on your payment method.
  • You can reschedule your timeslot, if needed.
    • Select the reschedule button on the Order Details page.

Can someone else pick up my order?

If you can’t pick up your order, you can add an alternate Pickup person.

During checkout:

  1. Go to the Review Your Order screen. 
    • This is the last page before completing your order. 
  2. Select Checkout all items.
  3. Select Edit next to Pickup person
  4. Add the Pickup person's name and email address.
  5. Select Save.

To change the Pickup person after you’ve placed your order:

  1. Go to your Walmart Account.
  2. Select Purchase History.
  3. Navigate to and select the order you want to update.
  4. Select Edit next to Pickup person.
  5. Add the Pickup person’s name and email address.
  6. Select Save.

Can I change the Pickup store location or Delivery address?

You may be able to change your Delivery address or Pickup location for a brief time after you place your order.

  • You will have up to three hours before the Delivery/Pickup window to update the order (express orders excluded).
    • You can only change once per order.
  • If you try to change to an address outside of the Delivery/Pickup area, you will see this message:
    • Sorry – your order can’t be delivered to that address. Please try a different address.
  • The option to change the Delivery/Pickup address will also appear when you try to cancel an order.

To change the Delivery/Pickup address:

  1. Go to your Walmart account.
  2. Select Order History.
  3. Navigate to the order you want to update.
  4. Select Edit beside the store location.
  5. Select the store where you want to pick up your items.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Select a date and time on the Reserve a time page.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Enter the last three digits of your card number.
    • Note: The order total may change when you switch stores due to taxes and fees. 
  10. Select Confirm.
