Walmart Cash is a promotional currency available to customers with a Walmart account through certain programs offered by Walmart from time-to-time. You can redeem Walmart Cash for future purchases in-store and online, or you can redeem your Walmart Cash and cash out in store.

• You earn Walmart Cash by claiming Manufacturer Offers for products in the app or on Walmart.com, then purchasing those items.
• You will get your Walmart Cash after your order is fulfilled and won’t be awarded if your item is substituted or returned.
  

How to Find Manufacturer Offers

Online

1. Go to Walmart.com or open the app.
2. Select Account.
3. Select Get More next to your Walmart cash balance at the top of the screen.
4. Select View Eligible Items to see available offers.

You can also search for a product. If there’s a Manufacturer Offer available, you’ll see it on the item’s detail page. To claim the offer, select the box next to Get Walmart Cash. We’ll award the Walmart Cash to your account once the item is purchased and delivered.

In Store

If you’re in-store, you can use the Walmart app to scan barcodes.

1. Open the Walmart app.
2. Open the scanner.
   
   • You can use Check a price or Scan & go.
3. Scan the product’s barcode.
4. If there’s a manufacturer offer, you’ll see it on your screen.
   • To claim the offer, select the box next to Get Walmart Cash. 
5. Scan the QR code at checkout to link your online account to your in-store transaction.
6. Once you purchase the item, we’ll award the Walmart Cash to your account.

Through Scan Your Receipt

If you have already claimed Manufacturer Offers in the app or Walmart.com, but purchased the relevant products at a store using a method other than Walmart Pay or Scan and Go, you may still be able to get Walmart Cash for those products by scanning a copy of your receipt.

1. Open your Walmart app.
2. Select the barcode icon in the search bar.
3. Scan the barcode on your store receipt. It may take up to 48 hours for the Walmart Cash to be awarded to your account.

How to Check for Awarded Walmart Cash

1. Open the Walmart app or go to Walmart.com.
2. Select Account.
   • If you earned Walmart Cash, you'll see the balance at the top of the page. 
3. Select Get More next to Walmart Cash located at the top of the page.
4. Select View your Walmart Cash Activity for more details. 

How to Redeem Walmart Cash for Purchases

You can redeem your Walmart Cash on purchases in-store and online.

Online

1. Sign into your Walmart account.
2. At checkout, select Apply next to your Walmart Cash balance in the Payment Method section.
3. Select the payment method for the remaining balance, if any.

In-Store

1. Sign into your Walmart.com account.
2. Scan the on-screen QR code to connect to your account.
3. Select Walmart Cash as a payment method.
4. Select payment method for the remaining balance, if any.
   
   • We won’t charge your payment method if you have more Walmart Cash than your basket total.

How to Redeem Walmart Cash for Cash In-Store

You can redeem your Walmart Cash and receive cash in-store once you have accumulated at least $25 in Walmart Cash.

In-Store

1. Log into your Walmart account.
2. Select Get more.
3. Scroll down to Walmart Cash Tools. 
4. Select Cash out in store.
5. Agree to the required terms and then select Show cash out barcode.
   
   • Your code expires in three hours.
6. Go to the MoneyCenter or customer service desk at any Walmart store.
7. Show your barcode to the associate to scan.

For security reasons, we’ll ask to see your ID. The name on the identification shown to a Walmart associate must match the name on your Walmart+ account.

Returned Items

If you earned Walmart Cash and then return the item, the Walmart Cash previously awarded will be deducted from your Walmart Cash balance.

• This may give you a negative balance. Future Walmart Cash awards will be used to first offset that negative balance, after which you can begin to accrue a positive Walmart Cash balance again.
• You can't use a negative balance towards your purchases, but we'll never ask you to repay a negative balance.

If you return an item you purchased with your Walmart Cash, it will be refunded to your Walmart Cash balance within approximately 24 hours.
